Psalm 19:1-14 Study, Reflection and Interaction

For the choir director. A Psalm of David.

The heavens are telling of the glory of God;And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.Day to day pours forth speech,And night to night reveals knowledge.There is no speech, nor are there words;Their voice is not heard.Their line has gone out through all the earth,And their utterances to the end of the world.In them He has placed a tent for the sun,Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.Its rising is from one end of the heavens,And its circuit to the other end of them;And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul;The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether.They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold;Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.Moreover, by them Your servant is warned;In keeping them there is great reward.Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins;Let them not rule over me;Then I will be blameless,And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heartBe acceptable in Your sight,O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 119:9-16 and Ephesians 1:3-14 Study, Reflection and Interaction

Beth.
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.
With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.
Blessed are You, O LORD;
Teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I have told of
All the ordinances of Your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts
And regard Your ways.
I shall delight in Your statutes;
I shall not forget Your word.

Psalms 119:9-16

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
