How to become a member
The early church understood that being a Christian meant continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (Acts 2:42-47), and to offering up their bodies as living sacrifices unto the Lord (Rom. 12:1). Unfortunately, we live in a society where many people compartmentalize their faith, are not very committed to serving and loving others in the context of a local church body, or both. We call membership, simply, a formal commitment to a church. The members of our church have formally made the commitment to love God and love one another.
We offer a membership class (typically 4 to 6 meeting sessions) to give you the opportunity to learn and ask questions about our church’s doctrinal positions and to learn how we specifically carry out the Biblical model of the local church.
